| Hey there,
Last week, independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. suspended his campaign and endorsed Donald Trump. In a powerful speech, Kennedy revealed that according to polling analyses, his staying in the race would likely aid the Democratic Party, which he left for a number of reasons — most notably due to diametric opposition regarding censorship, war, and Big Pharma.
Kennedy lambasted the Democratic Party for barring him from debates, weaponizing the legal system to keep him off the ballot, and using the mainstream media, which he appropriately called “Democrat Party organs,” to ensure that he was never able to directly address the American public. He also exposed the party’s hypocrisy in its undemocratic installation of Kamala Harris, who never received a single vote, and stated that he believed he would have won the election if not for the Democrats’ smear campaign against him.
He concluded his speech by expressing his intention to link arms with the Trump campaign in its pursuit of restoring national health and, more specifically, reversing the declining health of American children. And therein lies his reasoning for endorsing Donald Trump — he believes that of the two candidates, Trump is more likely to rid the public health apparatus in this country of corruption and advocate for the health of children.
At his rally in Arizona, during which RFK Jr. made an appearance, Trump echoed Kennedy’s sentiments: “Today I’m repeating my pledge to establish a panel of top experts working with Bobby to investigate what is causing the decades-long increase in chronic health problems and childhood diseases, including autoimmune disorders, autism, obesity, infertility, and many more. We want every child in America to grow up and to live a long and healthy life,” he declared as Kennedy stood by his side.
The union between Donald Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will likely impact the election at large, even if just marginally, but their union on the issue of children’s health specifically might just secure the suburban mom vote.
A lot of suburban mothers were planning to vote for RFK Jr. — many of them conservatives who were willing to look past his pro-choice position (especially considering Trump’s moderate stance on abortion) because medical freedom and eradicating corruption in the medical industrial complex were more important to them. Their votes are likely to go to Donald Trump now.
Tulsi Gabbard is another former Democrat turned independent who’s come forward and endorsed Donald Trump, and according to Kennedy, more Democrats are in line to join the Trump campaign.
While I do have concerns about these Democratic additions creating a more moderate Republican Party, I’m hopeful that this political realignment will mean greater integrity in our public health system—something every mom can get behind.
