It’s no secret that Fox News has become a major player in the world of news media. Unfortunately, its influence is largely negative, and its sources are often unreliable. From spreading lies about elections to supporting corrupt politicians, Fox News has become a major source of misinformation. It’s for these reasons that we must take action and ban Fox News from our airwaves.

I’m petitioning to knock Fox News off of Cable Television. At the very least, this petition will show how many people are furious with them.This petition will be sent to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), the governing body that has the power to take Fox News off the air. This is an important step in the process of restoring truth and transparency in our news media.

With 24 years of exemplary service in law enforcement, including several years as an officer at the Department of Justice in the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Immigration and Naturalization Service, and then as a Federal Reserve Law Enforcement Officer, Rodney possesses a deep understanding of the complexities of maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for all our residents.

Rodney has a proven track record of fostering collaborative relationships between law enforcement agencies and the community. Recognizing the importance of community involvement in preventing crime and promoting public safety, he has spearheaded various initiatives, such as the creation of a Gang Intelligence Unit in Miami, which successfully bridged the gap between law enforcement and the communities he served to apprehend violent gang members in the community.

One of the key priorities of Rodney Thomas’ campaign is to implement innovative strategies that address emerging challenges in law enforcement. His vision includes enhancing training programs to ensure Detention Service Officers (DSO) and law enforcement Deputies are equipped with the necessary tools to handle evolving situations effectively and utilize de-escalation techniques competently.

Rodney will implement much-needed protocols to foster better communication between DSO staff, first-line supervisors, and senior management staff. Rodney is a big proponent of utilizing therapy, rather than enforcement, to address the mental health crisis among the inmates at the jail. He is also committed to employing advanced technologies and data-driven approaches to optimize resource allocation and crime prevention efforts.
