When we were kids and learned “no-no words,” we played with them like we would a new toy. We made every attempt to not let one slip out around our parents, but when we got around our friends, it was a different story. We just hoped one of our parents’ friends didn’t hear, because I don’t know about you, but my parents’ friends were a bunch of snitches when it came to my language and behavior. Nowadays however, the snitches aren’t confined to your neighborhood, they are everywhere.

I find myself wanting to bloody the mouth of anyone who says, “Free speech doesn’t mean freedom from consequences.” THAT person is another version of your parents’ snitchy friends, but much worse. THAT person is not only the language police, but also the morality police. And it just so happens that the person who utters that God-awful line usually shares the morality of the regime in charge or is fully under the spell of the Spirit of this Age.

As an example, if you hear someone use the term racist or bigot, that person has most likely bought into the Spirit of this Age. Books will be written on what the Spirit is, but one example I can give at this moment is there are people who defend (and even encourage) a child’s right to begin the social and/or medical transitioning of their sex with no regard to the morality of it while at the same time believing anyone who does not believe in open borders should be exiled from society. It appears believing in secure borders makes you a vile racist and xenophobe who must be punished and humiliated; supporting the mutilation of children is worthy of praise. And there is an army of people who hold those opinions simultaneously. Attempting to diagnose their illness here is beyond my abilities, but, needless to say, they are dangerous AND they have the full backing of the powers that be.

We need to be able to tell the difference between our friends and our enemies. I can’t think of an easier starting point than someone you’ve allowed into your in-group who seeks to police your language. Especially if their criticisms line up with the insane regime that has captured the US government (and most Western governments for that matter). People on the outside of your in-group usually have no problem letting you know they’re your enemies, but those who are close to you and defend the Spirit of this Age should set off alarm bells. The time we’re living in is dangerous enough for people who believe the things that we do; having people close to us who defend or placate our enemies is suicide.
