Tulsi Gabbard: Why I’m leaving the Democratic Party

This is 100% Tucker Carlsonism. She has decided his audience is also the best audience for her geopolitical views.
My take on her is that she has a “Hinduism First” outlook. She is consistently anti-Islam because it’s Hinduism’s main rival. She’s been all over the place on domestic policy, which I don’t think she cares much about. Still, she has been very consistent on foreign policy, i.e., both stridently anti-Islam and anti-regime change wars because she knows the latter fuels Islamism.
For a while, it’s been obvious to me that her real goal is an alliance between America, India, and Israel against Islam, and she includes the Gulf States, Turkey, Iran, all of them as the enemy, irrespective of which faction they represent (MB, Salafi, Shia, etc).
The Dems want nothing to do with her and think she is a Russian asset, so she’s working an entirely different angle now. But her geopolitical outlook is still the same.

I believe in a government that is of the people, by the people, and for the people. Unfortunately, today’s Democratic Party does not. Instead, it stands for a government of, by, and for the powerful elite. If you can no longer stomach the direction that so-called woke Democratic Party ideologues are taking our country, I invite you to join me.
