On Sunday, August 14, at Dongola University (Faculty of Sharia and Law), in Dongola, Sudan, a discussion and debate of class war, social revolution, and a libertarian socialist society took place.
“For free organization, workplace networks, and permanent revolution”
To open, the “Anarchist Student Union” saluted all the people who revolt for freedom and struggle for the overthrow of power and tyrants.
The first speaker defined the meanings and concepts of anarchism, provided a detailed account of the history of the anarchist movement in the world, explained the emergence of anarchism in Sudan, and defined the anarchist union of students as a free union of groups and individuals based on its program. The program’s goals are to achieve a libertarian socialist society, be a body that organizes students of all scientific institutions for struggle, and publish its program to work for the establishment of a free society and to stand against power and its repression. Our societies have to fight hierarchical systems and authoritarian societies.
The second speaker listed the techniques and foundations of the program and organization in the implementation of its objectives and presented a critique of the capitalist system, the state system, and the hierarchical system, explaining the form and division of the pillars of the debate and its axes within hierarchical systems and how to form and define them. He went on to explain the extent of their influence and presence in the authoritarian system in the world, Sudan, Sudanese universities, and the student reality inside the University of Dongola and its faculties.
He also described the nature of libertarian socialism as one of the foundations of the program. He also detailed cooperative and exchange systems, rebellion, freedom, federalism, libertarian culture, and radicalism, as goals and techniques for the existence of a free society. And through a social revolution the student community contributes to forming organized bodies hostile to the authority.
