Kyle strawman’s the reason for third parties. The strategy of third parties isn’t about getting candidates elected. Rather, it’s about pulling enough voters out of the Democratic party to force the party to move to the left in order to get those voters back. Now, maybe that’s a good strategy and maybe it isn’t. I’d love to see videos with an intelligent discussion about whether the Greens, for example, can move the Democrats left. But let’s have the right discussion. The right discussion isn’t whether Greens can get elected; rather, it’s about if the Greens can influence the Democrats.
