‘3.3 Million Joints A Day’: Mississippi Gov Slams Marijuana Legislation As Recreational, Not Medical

Keep in mind that Mississippi was the last state to repeal alcohol prohibition, which they didn’t do until 1966, a third of a century after federal prohibition was repealed.

Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves (R-MS) said Monday he’d oppose proposed medical marijuana legislation, suggesting the amount of marijuana permitted in the bill would be “recreational” rather than for medicinal use.
