Did the FBI tell Trump about the online chat concerning violence that we have heard they knew of, at least a day before, or perhaps even three days before, the event?
If that’s the case, why can’t we conclude that the FBI wanted the thing to happen?
If Trump had been told, ‘We’ve heard of some threats of violence. Please don’t invite your supporters to the Capitol, because something is ‘up’ ”
Then maybe Trump wouldn’t have invited them.
Do we know? I don’t know.
