1. Biden apparently realized that his political ‘life’ was over, maybe as early as 2012, because the Democrats were going to tap Hitlery Clinton in 2016. And, he probably had no idea at all that the Democrats wouldn’t find a ‘good’ Demo candidate in 2020.
   So, I suspect that one of the big reasons Joe Biden did those things (or tolerated those things…) was that he felt he had nothing to lose.
