Prior to the pandemic, class divisions were already at a 100-year high. The pandemic has exercised an accelerationist effect and the ruling class continues with its “let them eat cake” attitude. The upper strata proletariat was already sinking fast, and the petite bourgeoisie is being decimated as well, which will only leave the ruling class, managerial class, lower proletariat, and the lumpenproletariat.
