Trump’s best chance for re-election is to play the Law and Order card. The SJW Left is just about dumb enough to play into his hands too.
It’s the last card he has left to play. He obviously can’t run on the economy or how well things are going with the pandemic. Although he may overplay his hand if his “surge” results in more killings by police and more riots. Then he will be viewed as a leader who is weak and can’t keep order, which is what the Democrats are hoping for. Trump is in the unenviable position of having to play the “tough guy” role in order to motivate his base to be sure to come out and vote and avoid appearing weak, while at the same time not overreaching to the point that he gives the appearance of having lost control or escalating the protests and riots.
