This is consistent with the findings of the “Hidden Tribes” study from a couple of years ago, i..e. that totalitarian humanism is primarily a phenomenon of the (predominantly white) left-wing of the upper-middle class, who are concentrated in the “ideas industries,” which gives them a platform much larger than their actual numbers, and which allows them to have considerable influence over young people as well.
