Mark Zuckerberg has agreed to meet with the civil rights groups that sparked a massive Facebook advertising boycott Reply

It’s always great to see an enemy get his comeuppance. And at the hands of his fellow ruling class scumbags no less. The Romans had the Ides of March. Maybe there will be an Ides of July.

  • Mark Zuckerberg will meet with the civil rights groups behind a massive Facebook advertising boycott.
  • Groups including the NAACP, Anti-Defamation League, and Color of Change called for advertisers to abandon the platform, citing Facebook’s unwillingness to take stronger action against hate speech and misinformation.
  • The boycott has snowballed in the past week, with major advertisers including Coca-Cola, Ford, and Verizon all pulling paid ads from Facebook and Instagram.
  • Zuckerberg agreed to the meeting after efforts by other Facebook executives to address advertisers’ concerns failed.
