Sign the petition: Sen. Bernie Sanders introduces resolutions to block weapons sale to Israel

Senator Bernie Sanders has launched another effort to stop American weapons sales to Israel.1

“With Trump and Netanyahu openly talking about forcibly displacing millions of Palestinians from Gaza – in other words, ethnic cleansing – it would be unconscionable to provide more of the bombs and weapons Israel has used to kill so many civilians and make life unlivable in Gaza,” Sen. Sanders said.2

Sen. Sanders’s attempt last year to stop a U.S. weapons transfer to Netanyahu had historic support in the Senate, despite its failure. We need to build on that momentum and urge a majority of Congress to say No to Trump and Netanyahu.

Sign the petition: Urge your lawmakers to support the Sanders resolutions to stop Trump’s sale of $8 billion in weapons to Netanyahu.

The World Health Organization and United Nations have expressed grave concerns about rising violence against Palestinians in the West Bank.3 And the Ceasefire in Gaza is on the verge of ending.4

Trump’s recent statements that he plans to displace all Palestinians from Gaza, develop the land, and take away the Palestinians’ right to return to their homes loom over the continued violence. And now Trump wants to circumvent Congress and send $8 billion more in weapons to Netanyahu.5,6

For there to be a true lasting peace for the Palestinian people, the United States must stop sending billions of dollars of weapons to Netanyahu’s military.

Sign the petition: Urge Congress to oppose the Trump-Netanyahu weapons sale.
