Maxwell Frost RESPONDS to being Censored by GOP

Episode 216 with Rep. Maxwell Frost

Special episode alert: Rep. Maxwell Frost (D-FL) is on the show to talk about the Trump whirlwind hitting the Hill and share his insider info on what it’s like to be in government right now under President Musk. Yes, you read that right! Watch our conversation below:

As Krystal puts it in this week’s episode during a discussion of the latest in Elon Musk’s quest for world domination, Elon thinks he’s Ready Player One, and we’re all NPCs. As our conversation takes a deep dive into the insights Maxwell has to offer into the psyches of two billionaire egotists, we talk about one of the biggest shockers of the Trump presidency so far: that Trump has finally found someone he’s willing to play second fiddle to, it seems. Looming over Cabinet meetings and following the president around like a shadow, Musk seems to be setting the terms for what the Trump agenda has in store. Which leads us to a disturbing conclusion: Because Trump is so “nakedly transactional,” what are the chances an actual transaction took place? We don’t think it’s that hard to imagine Musk, the richest man in the world, buying out the highest position of power in the world in exchange for infinite campaign funds.

That’s just one of the takes we’ve got for you on this week’s show, which focuses on everything from Maxwell’s experiences in the halls of power for the past month to Elon Musk’s evident savior complex and the Republican meltdown that’s taking place. As Maxwell points out, his own colleagues across the aisle were uninformed as to the extent and scope of the power Trump would ultimately give Elon, and many of them have been disturbed and alienated by the introduction of a back-room president. As Trump figures out how much power for Elon is too much, he may also have to consider how much he’s willing to rile up his own base.
