  1. What counts as ‘extreme’ is completely subjective. I consider mainstream normie politics extreme (and extremely retarded). How is wanting to abolish the Federal Reserve any more extreme than invading Iraq? These are propaganda terms.
    People who are more engaged with politics are likely to have stronger tribal identity or to realize that the existing system is trash. But that doesn’t make them any more extreme than the know nothings or the corporate media.

    • I agree. But the point of the video is that the polarized ends of the nine mainstream political typologies identified by Pew are the most politically active in mainstream politics, the so-called “faith and flag conservatives” (10% of the US population) and “progressive left” (6%).
