Counter-Currents Publishing, and the organizations they support, are not seeking free, open discourse. For all their posturing the fact is Counter-Currents and their supporters are advancing an ideology which is inherently opposed to the letter and spirit of free speech and human rights. Regardless of how they package and repackage their nakedly fascist, white supremacist agenda, the ideologies they promote all share the same core objective: the complete subjugation and subordination of everything they consider to be inferior to them, whether that is marked by ethnicity, gender, sexuality, or nationality. This is justified by claiming “inferiors” are somehow less human in some key element than the members of the so-called “Master Race”. Whether they believe in forced resettlement and segregation, the revival of systems like apartheid and Jim Crow, or outright genocide, the key assumption behind neo-Nazism, neo-fascism, and radical traditionalism is that other human beings are naturally inferior. This means they are not entitled to the same protections and rights, including the right to live, as their “natural” superiors.

The YouTube celebrity, ramzpaul, is a smart guy and probably means well in a bungling, Republican sort of way. He likely thinks that he is a conscientious racialist. He is also an observant and clever opportunist. But predominantly, he is a Murka-Firster.
Ramzpaul has piggy-backed onto the viral YouTube video released by the French group, Génération Indentitaire, with his own “A New Declaration of Independence.” He might possibly be horrified to know that the French are one of the most legislatively virulent European nations for keeping Murkan schlock culture out of their country. He might be further horrified to know that Bloc Identitaire, the organization behind Génération Identitaire, rejects the Murkan innovation of crass “White Nationalism.” The BI is allied with secessionist movements of a similar outlook in Portugal, Catalonia, Holland, Belgium (Vlaams Belang), and Italy (Lega Nord). The philosophical core of BI is Ethno Nationalism, not imperialistic, Murkan “White Nationalism.”

Welfare is back as the handiest weapon in the racist rhetorical arsenal. It’s back in the speeches of Republican candidates and surrogates, on right wing radio, and even in the language of those young “individualists” who see themselves as politically hip because of their perceived proximity to anarchist types. They believe the poor are poor because they want to be poor. Or are failed individuals. Or have grown so used to poverty that they are satisfied waiting for a check, that they like making the often humiliating trek to the local Department of Social Services office. ‘Welfare’ is back, which is to say ‘kick-a-nigger’ politics is in full swing.

Bertolt Brecht’s name is now largely lost to history, but the idea expressed in the succinct question above remains as potent today as when he uttered it. Brecht, a self-made Marxist who was once investigated by the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC) during the “Red Scare” era of the late 1940s and early 1950s, probably did not know a then-young Edward Kennedy or the other politicians who later devised the 1965 Immigration and Naturalization Act, and he did not live to see the eventual mass migration of immigrants, legal and illegal alike, into the U.S. after his death. We can only speculate on how Brecht would have viewed the rapidly-Balkanizing United States of the early 21st century, but it seems safe to conclude that the old Marxist would be astounded at its scope, scale and rapidity.

White Nationalism remains in a state of disarray, comprised of a small group hell-bent on ramming a square peg into a round whole via reactionary cries of restoring that which is already dead. Despite the frenzied squealing of the disconcerted swarm that is more concerned with saving America/Canada than anything else, being unable or unwilling to think outside the box of collapsing industrial nation-states, there are a few secession alternatives provided to the reactionary politics of restoring America to some highly idealized, yet vaguely defined gilded age. One of the most well-known alternatives is the Northwest Front, and while Harold Covington certainly deserves credit for recognizing that America is a sinking ship beyond salvation and that the survival of continental White Europeans lies within lifeboats of secession, there are several flaws with a single-state secession strategy (NWF or otherwise) when compared to pan-secession.
