By Nicky Reid aka Comrade Hermit Exile in Happy Valley As a badly battered Middle East hangs off the edge of a cliff by a string with a temporary ceasefire between the United States and Iran, peace or anything remotely resembling it looks even less likely for Southern […]
By Nicky Reid aka Comrade Hermit Exile in Happy Valley There is no more room left to mince words in the name of political correctness or anything else for that matter. Israel has become a menace of downright international proportions, and the world must come together to confront […]
By Nicky Reid aka Comrade Hermit Exile in Happy Valley At the writing of this post, it has been nearly a month since Israel and America began their savage aerial assault on Iran, and the Islamic Republic has been throttled and decimated in nearly every way conceivable. The […]
By Keith Preston, March 28, 2028 Order the book here. Jeb Smith’s is not merely a historical work—it is an ideological provocation disguised as a corrective narrative. It opens with a seemingly modest aim: to challenge misconceptions about the medieval period. But very quickly, it reveals its deeper […]

By Nicky Reid aka Comrade Hermit Exile in Happy Valley Trump has seriously fucked up in the Middle East this time and even he knows it. In the first two weeks alone of Bibi and Donald’s latest savage bombardment of the Islamic Republic of Iran, neither regime has […]
By Nicky Reid aka Comrade Hermit Exile in Happy Valley I think a lot of people take words like ‘home’ and ‘family’ for granted and I suppose I was one of them. I grew up in what I thought was a pretty stable home, a three-bedroom house with […]
By Nicky Reid aka Comrade Hermit Exile in Happy Valley If it’s February, then some liberal white dude is probably telling you about Black history and he’s probably totally missing the point, going on about how far someone else’s people have come and how far the nation that […]
By Nicky Reid aka Comrade Hermit Exile in Happy Valley I realized that there was something deeply terrifying about my body when I was two or three years old. I didn’t exactly know that I was a girl, I just knew that something was profoundly wrong. I didn’t […]
By Nicky Reid aka Comrade Hermit Exile in Happy Valley One might be forgiven for assuming that the man in the White House is a lunatic and Donald J. Trump certainly couldn’t be confused with the picture of mental health by anyone with half of a functioning brain […]
By Nicky Reid aka Comrade Hermit Exile in Happy Valley “We will have everything we want; we’re getting everything we want, at no cost!” the President of Babylon barked triumphantly over his latest diplomatic conquest in Greenland. After weeks of mounting tensions between our dear leader and his […]

By Nicky Reid aka Comrade Hermit Exile in Happy Valley Well, it’s official dearest motherfuckers, America has become the world’s largest third world dictatorship. If the first two months of 2026 don’t prove this to you with flying colors than I’m terrified to ask what will. Since Christmas, […]
By Keith Preston January 30, 2026 Every civilization produces authority, and every civilization produces resistance to it. What distinguishes historical epochs is not whether power exists, but whether its legitimacy is taken for granted. The present era is marked by an unprecedented fusion of state power, corporate management, […]

By Nicky Reid aka Comrade Hermit Exile in Happy Valley America is in the grips of an epic gang war the likes of which it has never seen before. Masked and heavily armed thugs stock the streets of some of America’s biggest cities with total impunity, thousands of […]
By Nicky Reid aka Comrade Hermit Exile in Happy Valley It all went off without a hitch. Donald Trump’s huge, beautiful, helicopter coup of 2026. After two years of bungling pretty much everything from tariffs to the Epstein cover-up, our dayglow Caesar rolled the dice in Venezuela, and […]

By Nicky Reid aka Comrade Hermit Exile in Happy Valley Two events from my bleak rural Pennsylvania childhood have scarred my soul more than any others, fundamentally defining my entire outlook both psychologically and philosophically. The first event was very personal but became very political and the second […]
By Cake Boy Anarchism is destroyed by leftism, according to Bob Black. When I was in anarchist circles, there where a lot of ex communists within these circles. . The thing with Communism is that it’s an absolutist theory. They are right, and the rest of the world […]

In January of 2001, Attack the System went live. At the time, it was little more than a personal project—rough, marginal, largely invisible outside a small circle of anarchists, libertarians, and political misfits who were already alienated from the prevailing ideological order. The site had no institutional backing, […]
By Nicky Reid aka Comrade Hermit Exile in Happy Valley “No matter what God’s power may be, the first aspect of God is never that of the absolute Master, the Almighty. It is that of the God who puts himself on our human level and limits himself.” -Jacques […]

THE AWAKENING by Paul Newman – A Philosophical Thriller About the End of Authority For decades, anarchist thinkers have asked a simple question that destroys the foundations of statism: Where does government’s authority actually come from? Not historically. Not legally. Morally. Philosophically. Statists respond with circular reasoning: “The […]
By Keith Preston December 7, 2025 A report circulating on social media includes the following observations. It’s like that scene from “A Clockwork Orange” where Malcolm McDowell’s “Alex” character returns from prison only to find that his former gangmates are now the police. It’s common for states that […]
By Nicky Reid aka Comrade Hermit Exile in Happy Valley Way back in the 1700s there was this fucked up little place called Florida, or at least that’s what the Spaniards called it. The original natives of the region had multiple different names for this untamable swampland but […]
By Nicky Reid aka Comrade Hermit Exile in Happy Valley Statistically speaking, you or someone you love has been preyed upon by a man with more power than he deserves. RAINN estimates that 17.7 million American women have been the victims of rape in the United States and […]
By Nicky Reid aka Comrade Hermit Exile in Happy Valley It stuck. Donald Trump nailed it. The impossible peace deal that will remake the Middle East in his own gawdy gilded image. After just over two years straight of total war, after billions of dollars of bombs and […]
By Cake Boy Property is fundamental, it’s the foundation for liberty, libertarians like Hoppe and Rothbard say. I agree with them. But it depends on what kind of property. People don’t think enough about these issues. And Rothbard and Hoppe had/have a twisted idea of what property is, […]

By Nicky Reid aka Comrade Hermit Exile in Happy Valley Once upon a time, not so long ago, I was a goddamn commie, and I’m not talking Bernie Sanders here. I’m talking hardcore, blood-red, dyed-in-the-wool, revolutionary Marxism. I was a goddamn tankie and while I quoted Lenin and […]
By Nicky Reid aka Comrade Hermit Exile in Happy Valley Thousands of years ago, on the sacred rock from which my ancestors fled, this season of the year was celebrated as Samhain, an ancient Celtic festival marking the end of the summer harvest and the beginning of the […]

Troy Keith Preston Oct 25, 2025 Philosophical Anarchism and Its Global Implications Philosophical anarchism, as articulated by thinkers such as William Godwin, Robert Paul Wolff, Roderick Long, and Carole Pateman, holds that no state or government possesses legitimate moral authority over the individual. Unlike revolutionary or insurrectionary anarchism, […]
By Cake Boy The Libertarian Party in this country campaigns on an anti-bureaucracy slogan. They want to get a saw through the government and cut costs. Some things to say about this. Often, libertarians say they are against the government, but in reality, they don’t really act like […]
By Cake Boy I watched this video, and I react to it. I noticed this Queer stuff coming into leftism during 2010s. That’s when everyone became ‘Queer’ although nobody could really define what ‘Queer’ meant. It meant ‘not cis’. But nobody knew what ‘cis’ is. People called me […]
By Nicky Reid aka Comrade Hermit Exile in Happy Valley Christianity is back and it’s more violent than ever. I speak of course of the late capitalist tent house revival of Christian Nationalism amongst the decaying ruins of Washington DC. Using the demonic, Caligula-esque Emperador Trump like a […]

By Cake Boy So, I read this text, and reply to what Rothbard says: Now that the New Left has abandoned its earlier loose, flexible non-ideological stance, two ideologies have been adopted as guiding theoretical positions by New Leftists: Marxism-Stalinism and anarcho-communism. At this time, we are more […]

By Cake Boy The other day, I saw a boy calling a leftist/socialist economist a ‘soy boy’. And only ‘soy boys’ believed him. On the right, they paint the picture that rightwing politics is about being straight, dominant, and going to the gym and all of that. I […]
