This is why corporations are happy with diversity among employees based on race, sex, sexual orientation or gender identity, while they oppose labor unions. It’s not that identity issues are bad; it’s just that they can be used as diversions against class solidarity. If you focus too much on class divisions, you are called a “class reductionist.”
