Welcome to the second English edition of our podcast Koortsdroom Café (literal translation is Feverdream Café). We are JFVD: the youth organization of Dutch party Forum voor Democratie led by historian, author, philosopher and entrepreneur Thierry Baudet. JFVD is the biggest political youth movement of the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg with thousands of members. Our goal is to reawaken a new renaissance in Europe in order to save western civilization of its own suicide, which is mainly caused by weak leaders, mass immigration and degeneration.
In this episode Iem Al Biyati and Massimo Etalle had the honour of interviewing Joost Strydom, CEO of Orania. He tells a highly inspirational story of dedication, faith and community. Afrikaners are a minority in their own country. To escape from racial tensions and the communist regime of South Africa, they founded their own village in the middle of a desert. Their community is growing and thriving and there’s much to learn from their hard work, faith and creativity. Big thanks to Joost Strydom for coming over to Amsterdam to share his ideas with us!
