My main priority as far as US politics is concerned is to keep the Bush-era neocons and their allies or descendants from ever returning to power. Right now, we have three de facto political parties: the neo-Rockefeller Republicans (centrist Democrats), neo-Know Nothings (Trumpists/American Le Penists), and neo-Ted Kennedy liberals (progressive Democrats). The neocons are leading the opposition to Trump within the GOP while attempting to co-opt Trumpism, recolonize the Democrats, and co-opt the Left. As many constraints as possible on the maneuverability of the neocons is a good thing.
