They didn’t “fail” if Biden wins. It may be true that the general public doesn’t care what a bunch of warmed-over Bushies think, but it doesn’t matter if they’re the ones pulling the strings. The goal of the Lincoln Project and other similar efforts was to create a ruling class unity regime where they win no matter who wins.
