Zuma’s attack on SA democracy — will MK take up its seats in Parliament and KZN?

Recent comments by the MK leader, former president Jacob Zuma, that his party won the elections, may well indicate his future strategy. It is clear he is playing for the longer term, which raises questions about whether MK’s representatives will take their seats in the National Assembly and the KwaZulu-Natal legislature.

🇺🇸🚶A new enforcement introduced by Joe Biden could see migrants who enter the US from Mexico illegally be denied the chance to claim asylum. Biden has ratcheted up illegal immigration reform as it continues to be a major election touchpoint.
🇮🇱🇵🇸 Hamas has reiterated that Israel must commit to a permanent ceasefire arrangement, and a complete withdrawal from the Gaza Strip or no ceasefire can be agreed upon. At this stage, Israel’s willingness to commit to this plan is doubtful at best.
🇮🇳🤝🏽 Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has his work cut out, with a desperate attempt to secure a coalition and a third term in power. Modi’s party failed to secure a majority, but should remain in power if the current BJP-led coalition sticks together.
👑💷 There is now a King Charles banknote in circulation in Britain. He will appear on new five, 10, 20 and 50 pound notes. The cost of living crisis has a literal face on it.
