An Introductory Reading List for Conservative Socialist and Other Conservative Critics of Capitalism

At the end of my last article on conservative socialism titled “A Brief Overview and Principles of Conservative Socialism,” I stated I would create a reading list. I have decided to do an introductory reading list because I do not want to overwhelm people with books but rather have a selected number of articles and a few books for those who are just discovering Conservative Socialism or Conservative critiques of capitalism. I will provide a link to where you can read these writings for yourselves. These works will range from conservative criticisms of capitalism to a history book to an interview and books on government and economics. I will also include one non-socialist writer Russell Kirk and one non-conservative writer Karl Marx to check out because they do provide some ideas for conservative socialists and some critiques. In total, there are 7 articles and 6 books. Of course, you do not have to read all of these writings, but I do encourage you to check out all the articles and at least two of the books. If you are new to the blog, I would also encourage you to check out the articles I mentioned and my series on a “Conservative Case For Class Struggle.”
