So I checked the leftist anarchist party of this country, and I checked how they are doing. They now have around 6000 followers on social media. But they are still a worthless mess. They don’t achieve anything and have no political significance. Why is this the case?

First, their ideas are not well formulated. What is anarchism? What does an anarchist political organisation look like? What does an anarchist economy look like? I would personally say anarchism (in its political meaning) is: radical decentralization, combined with free association and free dissociation. How do you get to such a world? That’s another discussion. But you at least have to formulate what you want. Where are we now, and what do we want? And why.

The leftist anarchists don’t do this. They only talk about what they are against. They are a movement of negation. They are a negative. There are hundreds of things that they oppose. Things like nationalism, capitalism, patriarchy, homophobia, transphobia, macho behavior, meat eating, certain forms of art, etc. They never take the time to specify what these things are, which they oppose, and why they oppose them. So, it’s just noise they produce. We are against patriarchy, but we won’t explain what patriarchy is.  They also never formulate what they do want. We only know they are against conservative culture. They could as well be called: the anti-conservative party.

The modern leftist anarchists spend their time blocking events of speakers they disagree with. So, their tactic is not selling their libertarian socialism, but physically attacking people who disagree with them (which is basically anyone). They think that if we attack all the people who disagree with us, if we silence all the right-wing and/or conservative people, then in the end, there are only people like us who dare to speak out, and anarchism is reached by physical force.

They could as well have a debate with a conservative/capitalist person. But they don’t do this because they know it could become hard for them. Most of the modern leftist anarchists never read a book and have no intellectual background whatsoever.

They don’t want to sell their ideas, because they know how difficult it is to sell. They know how hard it is to go from neoliberalism to syndicalism. And they don’t want to think about the implications of their creed.

So they are living in bad faith. Instead of working on their own movement, they attack other movements. All the while, people only make fun of them, which they don’t understand, because most of them have autism.

Modern anarchism looks like the youth center I used to go to when I was sixteen. Stickers on the wall, drinking a beer, listening to rock, upsetting your parents, because you wear black clothes.

In the past, anarchism was a movement of millions. It’s strange to see how it crumbled into dust.

Turbulent times are coming, but modern Western anarchism won’t be involved. Socialism and communism, on the other hand, will probably be because they are still serious political movements.
