🇺🇸🗳️ US Vice President Kamala Harris has officially conceded the election, having called Donald Trump and promised a peaceful transfer of power. Speaking to supporters, Harris vowed to keep fighting for the ideals that powered her campaign.
🇺🇳🇮🇱 The United Nations has told Israel that it needs to take responsibility for replacing Palestinian relief agency UNRWA in Gaza. The UN says it is Israel’s problem, and not up to the world to make up for the vacuum left when Israel cut ties with UNRWA, leaving its operations in Gaza and the West Bank at risk of collapse.
🇿🇦👑 Britain’s Prince William says his wife Katherine is doing “really well” in her cancer recovery. The Prince of Wales made the comments in Cape Town, where he was hosting the annual awards ceremony for his multi-million-dollar Earthshot Prize, which he set up to identify climate solutions and innovations.
🌍💉An initial 899,000 mpox vaccine doses have been allocated for nine countries across Africa hit hard by the current surge of the virus. These countries include South Africa, Central African Republic, Ivory Coast, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Liberia, Nigeria, Rwanda and Uganda.
