An accredited and academically rigorous degree in the Word on Fire ethos

Friends,

I am delighted to announce that the Word on Fire Institute has partnered with our friends at the University of Saint Thomas–Houston to launch a brand new Master of Arts in Evangelization and Culture.

We’ve crafted this program to offer you an accredited and academically rigorous engagement with the thinkers, ideas, and practical methods that are necessary to proclaim the Gospel to a secularized, polarized, and tech-saturated world.

We are on a mission to supply the Church with an army of intellectually adept, culturally agile, thick-skinned, high-spirited, and new-media-savvy evangelists who are well equipped to identify the “seeds of the Word” wherever they exist in the culture. We’ve designed our curriculum to give you a solid foundation in Catholic evangelization grounded in the Word on Fire ethos.

You’ll be immersed in courses like Biblical Theology for Evangelists, Reading and Writing for Evangelists, Philosophy for Evangelists, Art and Architecture for Evangelists, and many more. All classes take place online and are taught live—we don’t do canned pre-recorded lectures in our program—by faithful Catholic scholars and thought leaders, including our own Word on Fire Institute professors.

We also offer an optional in-person summer residency at the University of Saint Thomas campus. The program commences this June 2024, so don’t wait to join the Word on Fire Institute and the University of Saint Thomas in our movement to reclaim the culture for Christ and his Church.

In just a few days on May 13th at 6:00pm (CST), we are hosting a Virtual Information Session with a live Q&A.
