To clarify, Medicaid is the insurance program that covers basically everything (medical, dental, vision and prescriptions) BUT it is a mean based program, which means that your assets and income have to be BELOW a certain amount to qualify for the program. Medicaid has no premiums, copays or deductibles, but not as many doctors accept Medicaid because the reimbursement rates are lower than private health insurance or Medicare.
