1. The idea of passing $3.5 trillion spending bills by 51% “reconciliation” is a horrible joke. This cannot help but to lead to a series of ‘51% tyrannies’ where each party tries to slam back on the outrageous actions of the other side when it was in power
   One partial solution would be to limit to, say, 1% of the Federal budget bills done by reconciliation. Sure, maybe it’s acceptable to do 1% that way, but certainly not 20%, or even 10%.
