The Neocons: Marxist-Leninist-Trotskyist-Capitalist-Zionists

By Keith Preston

An interesting irony is that most Americans have no clue that one of the most, if not the most, powerful political faction in US politics during the past 40 years has been a de facto Marxist-Leninist vanguard sect with roots in Trotskyism, which aligns itself with right-wing plutocrats in order to secure funding, and wishes to use the USA as the financial and military benefactor of Israel.

The neocons are just like the classic Marxist-Leninists and Trotskyists they learned their political strategy from. When I was in my early 20s I had an anarchist mentor who was a former SDSer who taught me the ins and outs of the Leninist model of “vanguard” organizing (in order to better understand how left movements get overrun by Bolshies). The neocons are absolute masters at the use of this organizational method.

A perfect example of this was the way during the Trump administration the Podhoretz clan was buy colonizing Trumpism while the Kristol clan was buy recolonizing the Democrats and co-opting the left. And they were more or less successful. Now, their new popular front is in power, with Trumpism remaining as controlled opposition.

The neocons are also working the #WalkAway angle as well, i.e. liberal/libertarian anti-leftists while at the same time continuing to work the evangelicals and Christian Zionists from the right-end and co-opting the “cultural Marxists” from the left-end.

  1. I cannot figure out way Israel is such a golden calf to the neo-cons. Surely it is not the religious angle they push to evangelicals, and if not, why would they care?!

      • The breadth of your writings is breathtaking.

I didn’t get how new the Isreal Lobby was, and how the media, neo-cons, and evangelicals only really combined in the 70’s and 80’s.

It makes sense though that they would be so perfectly positioned to influence both political wings with their secular nationalism on one hand, and religious clout one the other.

Hopefully the failure of Iraq, and the trillions we have spent since will mark the end of the Lukids, but if they could hold so much power over US policy, it leads me to wonder what the next influence would be.

Does China’s capture of Hollywood, businesses like the NBA, and international bodies like the WHO foreshadow the next direction, or maybe Critical Theory’s control over business and education? Maybe they are one in the same in some way….
