1. From the beginning the proud boys were about breakfast cereals and masculinity, not anti-state. More of a joke than anything, even to themselves. It was a media construction that they are insurrectionist in any form, except beating on antfa lady-boys who attack them (who happen to be pro-state). The proud boys are very likely to be pro-cop, and only now, when the cops are obviously not with them, turning to be anti-state. This it a positive turn.
