  1. Fancy graphics, but a flawed message; the real inequality is not in the incomes, but in assets. The disparity in assets is not caused by the marginal income tax, but the absence of a land value tax, which means that the very few that own land reap the economic befenits of the collected productive power of society around it.

    If you want to even out the inequality, remove taxation of productive activity (labor and investment), and shift taxes to site value, resource ownership and extraction and carbon-based resource use.
