Conservatives idealize agents of  the &#8220;criminal justice system&#8221; as real-life Batmans who are only out to defend innocent crime victims, with no self-interest or ulterior motives of their own. The Left views the &#8220;criminal justice system&#8221; merely as a tool of racist, classist, sexist, fascist, et.al oppression, ignoring the fact that statist oppression transcends boundaries of race, class, religion and culture.
