I read that "Anarkismo" manifesto and was thoroughly underwhelmed by it. To be honest, the overwhelming majority of left-anarchism I find unimpressive: center-left reformism on political affairs, outmoded cultural marxism on social affairs. It seems the majority of these people are really just the bastard children of Ralph Nader and Herbert Marcuse.

Well, I've hardly touched my guitars in years, but I used to play in a classic rock/class heavy metal cover band in the late 80s/early 90s. Stuff like Sabbath, Priest, AC/DC, Motley Crue, Alice Cooper, that kind of stuff. Later, in the mid-90s, I was in a band that did originals in the standard 90s grunge/punk style. I was the bass player in those bands, and sometimes rhythm guitarist.

Kyuss played what was termed "desert rock" i.e. a post-punk version of late-60's/early-70's Blue Cheer style music (they were ex-hardcore kids who grew their hair out and downtuned their guitars.) Fu Manchu is a more straightahead hybrid of 70's grooves and 80's L.A. hardcore (think Sabbath meets Circle Jerks.) Orange Goblin started out working squarely in the Sabbath/Cheer vein but lately their music has deviated into Misfits-style horror punk territory, replate with cheesy B-movie references. Monster Magnet began as an awesome lo-fi hipster version of Hawkwind and later got a deal with a major label and devolved into a mainstream hard rock band. Personally, I was an indie kid who grew up on a steady diet of SST/80's college radio bands (Husker Du, Replacements, Dinosaur Jr., Pixies, etc.) and later on discovered classic hard rock and metal of the bongwater variety-so most of the music I find myself writing now is a natural synthesis of the two. What instrument do you play?

I've heard of those groups, but I'm not really that familiar with their music. The only partial exception is Monster Magnet. I was in a band with a guy in the early 90s who was really into them.

When goldman sacks made the bet---with many if not all of our congress, that Americas housing bubble would burst, goldman and congress made several hundred billion from all the suffering of hard working Americans and their children, now living on the streets and in tent cities.

Since at least some of Goldmans people are brought into our government, how is it our government didn't know and help all Americans understand? Answer, because congress wouldn't have made millions upon millions on the bet and our government would have gotten less tax money.

Traitors to our nation have been hung by the neck till they are dead. What of congress?

It's great to see an Electric Wizard tune on here. Are you into any other modern "stoner" rock outfits, such as Kyuss, Fu Manchu, Monster Magnet, or Orange Goblin?
